The Chino Valley – Paulden Cottage Industry & Small Home Based Business Directory is a new endeavor and isn’t set up like many big websites where everything is automated. The purpose of this Directory is designed to reach our local potential customer audience only. The Directory is just one element of our Ministry whose goal is to make a difference in the lives of those living in our community and although we endeavor to do our best in each element of the ministry, time is always an issue so keeping the Directory as simple yet effective will always be a challenge.

We will design your Page for best the best customer viewing. It is recommended that if you are going to be mentioning specific products, that those products be ones that you constantly carry and have in stock or if we are talking about services, that those services also be your normal ones you provide. We are not able to modify you Page often because of time restraints. 

It is highly recommended that if you have your own website - an actual regular one or if you use Facebook as a business page, that you list these on the page. Your Advertising Page In This Directory is primarily designed to help potential customers make contact with you. The more contact information you provide, the easier that is for the customer. One might say that your Page is here to kind of wet the potential customers appetite for what you have to offer. 

The use of Product Graphics – We recommend that you do not use product graphics unless they are for products or services you will consistently provide or have available. We simply are not able to change individual page product graphics on a regular basis. If you redesign you Company Main Display Graphic or Banner Graphic (These are always located at the top of your Page), we can work with that. 

Once your Page is designed and online, your normal listing in both the Category Area of the Directory and also in the Businesses Listed By Name Area will remain the same but your business name showing will actually be a link to your specific page. 

You may wonder why we use a Blog format for our online presence. The answer is simple. It’s easy to use, is free which reduces our costs and allows us to pass those savings on to those we serve. Once the Directory becomes large enough, it will get its own Domain Name.


TWO WAYS TO PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS

Display Your Company Logo Or Graphic On Main Page In The “Our Business Supporters” Heading


We will place your company’s Logo or graphic in the “Our Business Supporters” area on the Directory’s main page for a suggested donation of $10 a month. The graphic or logo size must be less than 20 KB and shouldn’t be larger than 120 pixels High and 250 pixels Wide.

Maximum Page Text Character Count


Although there isn’t any hard set rule for the amount of page script text, we have found that if you maintain your actual text character count to between 2000 and 2500 characters, that is usually about all most potential visiting customers care to read at one time. This can be broken up in any manner you wish on your page and we will work with you to help make sure your page represents not only what you want to say but do it in a way that grabs that potential customers attention. After all, that’s the name of the game. As you may have noticed, on the main front Directory Page, we have kept the amount of actual Text to a minimum since our goal is to get all our potential customers to dig down in the Directory and start seeing the listing of all the businesses listed. Some times More isn’t always Better.




Our advise is to Say What You Need To Say And Do It As Quickly As Possible. We will be glad to help you in this area if we can but no one knows your business as well as you do.

Your page will automatically have your Contact Information at the top of your page. This can be made up of “Your Contact Phone Number”, “Your Email Address” and “Your Website URL If You Have One”. You can use any or all of these in your Contact Information area. The more ways a potential customer can reach you the better

We use a Flat $15.00 a month suggested donation for Pages.


Since DM Personal Financial Organization Service and the Chino Valley – Paulden Cottage Industry & Small Home Business Directory are part of Squash Patch Farms Ministries, a 501C3 Non-Profit, we operate differently. What both these two services as well as our Food Connect Program are provided for the benefit of those residing in our community. The suggested donations we ask help offset the cost of maintaining our work an go towards us helping put food on the tables of those in need in our community.

For both DM Personal Financial Organization Service and the Chino Valley – Paulden Cottage Industry & Small Home Business Directory (providing a separate Page for businesses and other considerations) we have a suggested donation figure we indicate. We send out resemble Monthly Invoices which are actually Reminder Notices for those we are helping to make their agreed upon donation. What is actually taking place is that when you use YouCaring, our online donations site, for making that donation, that donation becomes a true donation that is tax deductable. Instructions on how to do this, and other methods for making your donation will be on each monthly “Donation Reminder”. We ask that you make your donation as promptly as possible so we can keep our books correct. When you make your monthly donation through YouCaring, you will receive a Yearly Tax Deduction Letter for your tax purposes from Squash Patch Farms Ministry.
